Hi! I am Megan Schneidt and this is my second year teaching at Edgewood. I am thrilled to get to know each and everyone one of my third graders and their families.
I graduated this a year and a half ago from Grand Valley State University with a double major in Mathematics and Elementary Education. A week after graduation, I was fortunate to get involved in the Fruitport Community as their Middle School Math Interventionist. I spent the remaining part of the school year working with students to develop their math skills through hands-on activities, online resources, class work, and more! Having the opportunity to be a part of a team of great educators like the one here at Edgewood is one that I have been looking forward to since I was a little girl. My hope is to have my students leave each day with the excitement of walking through our classroom door the next morning! On a personal note, my husband and I have a 8 year old lab pointer mix (Sam) and a charcoal lab puppy (Bailey)! When I am not in the classroom, I am spending time with family and friends. We enjoy being outdoors, kayaking, fishing, and soaking up the sun! If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch: [email protected] |
